How far along? 24 weeks, 2 days
Weight gain/loss? Up 8 pounds (yes, that is an increase of 3 pounds in 2 weeks. I think I need to take a break from the cakes....)
Maternity clothes? My maternity pants are still falling off, but I love my maternity tops this time around. Last pregnancy I felt like they were tents.
Stretch marks? No stretch marks yet! My c-section scar is starting to drive me insane though!
Sleep? I sleep as long as my bladder is empty.... that lasts for about 2-3 hours max.
Best moment this week? I found a new doctor and she is amazing!! Plus, Ryan got to finally go with me to our appointment and hear Tiny Todd's heartbeat. Heaven...
Food cravings? Cake. Always the cake.
Gender? BOY
Belly button in or out? Pretty flat, but still in.
Movement? This little guy is crazy! He finally kicked Ryan pretty hard the other day.
What I miss? Being able to apply lotion without becoming a contortionist.
What I'm looking forward to: I get to go home (Utah) this next week! I'm excited to see all of my family, especially my sister-in-law and her cute new baby belly! She's due in September, just 3 months after me. I'm so excited Tiny Todd will have a cousin to play with!
Oh, and blame the lack of belly pictures on Ryan. It's all his fault.

Big Girl Bed
I don't know if you've heard, but we're having another baby. It's true. Since Scarlet will now have to share her room..... and her crib, we decided it was time for a "big girl" bed. We got it all put together last night while Scarlet was asleep. This morning we put it in her room and put the bedding on it. Let's just say I have never seen my child so excited. She was in complete love with it. She would jump on it and giggle and then lay down and snuggle. Let's just hope when it comes time to sleep in it she still loves it. It's pretty cute, isn't it?

Friday Funday
I'm going to start up a new feature called Friday Funday. Basically Friday is the only day I get to see Ryan, so we usually go on a date Friday nights. Of course Scarlet is with us, so we end up going out around 4:00. Yep, we're that awesome.
Tonight's Funday featured Farrell's Ice Cream Shoppe in Rancho. This place opened in Rancho not too long ago and there are always HUGE lines to get in. We figured it must be a good place to try out. We've tried to go 3 times.... not once were we successful. Tonight, our fourth try, we decided to stick out the wait of 30 minutes (not bad compared to most nights), and try this place out to see what all the fuss was about.
The prices are a bit much for what you get. The food is mediocre at best. I really just wanted to go so I could try their fries and an ice cream sundae with caramel. I got garlic fries (a regret for the rest of the night since garlic lingers for ages). The fries tasted pretty good; however, be warned, if you don't like spicy foods, you won't like the garlic fries. If you get a blob of fresh garlic, it is spicy! Anyway, a few hours later, I am still tasting garlic. Yippee. Ryan and I got a caramel sundae to share. Since we bought food, the price for our ice cream was do-able. Scarlet was in sugar heaven! The caramel was good, but not Leatherby's good (Utah favorite).
Overall, the food was fair, ice cream was decent, but I don't think I'll go back in a hurry or anytime soon. Oh, and I must mention that it is LOUD in there. They are constantly banging drums, singing songs, telling jokes, etc. It's definitely a place to take your kids. Scarlet loved it.
On our way out, we spotted a limo filled with probably 10 girls between the ages of 8 and 10. They were celebrating a birthday. Really? A limo? For an 8-10 year old birthday party? Let's just say my daughter won't have a limo taking her to an ice cream shoppe for her birthday. Sorry Scarlet.

Pregnancy Update -- 22 weeks
How far along? 22 weeks
Weight gain/loss? Up 5 pounds
Maternity clothes? Almost there. I can still squeeze into my jeans, but it won't be for much longer.
Stretch marks? Knock on wood, there are no stretch marks.... yet. I'm hoping they stay away. I need to keep my body bikini ready, right?
Sleep? It comes and goes. Now that Tiny Todd is getting bigger, sleep is getting more uncomfortable, especially changing positions in the night.
Best moment this week? Buying the tiramisu I had been eyeing at the store and devouring almost the entire thing. Yep, little bites of heaven...
Food cravings? I'm still on a chocolate cake kick. I want it every. single. day! I made cupcakes last week, gave away half, kept half. Let's just say Ryan only ate one and I ate the rest...
Gender? Last I checked, Tiny Todd was a boy. Pretty sure he's still a boy.
Bell button in or out? In, but thinning.
Movement? Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle
What I miss? My doctors in Utah!!!! I can't even tell you how much I wish I was in Utah for this baby. My doctor here is the definition of "worst doctor ever." It sucks. There is no way I am letting her slice me open to remove my child. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a new doctor.... or just deliver in Utah.
What I'm looking forward to: Hmmm... Not sure.

Changes...
This last week has been a bit of a struggle for me. As most of you know, I have the most amazing job with the most amazing bosses and co-workers. I honestly do. Well, last week we found out that our job was being outsourced. What does this mean? Well, basically it means that there is somebody out there who will do the same job for a lower price. Thankfully my company didn't leave me completely high and dry. The new outsource company offered us all jobs, but with pay cuts and all that good stuff. I would have to work more hours too. One thing I love about my job now is that I can take the time I need to be with Scarlet and not feel pressured to always be getting in my hours. After much heartache and many tears (Ryan can attest to this), I have decided I will not be moving over to the new company. I will no longer have a job at the end of the month. I'm totally devestated to be losing my job, a job that I have loved for the last 7-1/2 years. With this change will come our new baby, and I'm hoping it will just be a relief for me not to be working when he comes. I'm still not quite sure how to deal with the feelings of not providing anything for my family. This will definitely be an interesting transition for me. Good-bye job, hello world of opportunity.... I guess.
