I then traveled to the doctor's office, which is nice and brand new. Only since it's new, they were all completely lost. I'm pretty sure they had no idea what was going on, but at least all of their scrubs matched.
Now, I know with twin pregnancies there are a lot of complications. Thank goodness we have made it to 28 weeks without most of them. We have been quite blessed to have a fairly easy pregnancy thus far. Until today. They checked my blood pressure and unfortunately it was high. We were doing so well!!! What happened? What does this mean? Well, this is an early indication of preeclampsia, which is not a good thing. I now have my best friend, Orange Jug, with me for 24 hours. He will be collecting all urine for me. The gross part (beside the fact that its a jug full of urine)? I have to keep it in my fridge. Totally disgusting. I also get to have more blood drawn tomorrow to see what's going on there. Oh joy. The doctor even mentioned if we can't get this under control or if my tests are crazy, then here comes the bed rest and possibly admission to the hospital. NOOOO!!!! Again, we were doing so well. What happened?
Here's the hoping all my test results come back normal.

None of this sounds like fun! I'm crossing my fingers that everything comes back okay for you.
Holy cow! This is crazy! A jar of urine in the fridge? Make sure you label it... lol. I certainly hope this is nothing and that everything comes back okay. All of this really makes me grateful for Megan's birthmom who did all this horrible stuff for me!!
I am so glad that I never had to drink that nasty orange stuff. At my office they have you eat a candy bar and drink a soda an hour before you come in. But I had to do that test at 22 weeks, so at least you got to hold off for longer ha ha
That is so crappy about your blood pressure. Let's hope it was a fluke and everything is going great! I will keep my fingers crossed. That is pretty funny that you have pee pee in your fridge!!
I had to do that pee test with JJ. You're right, it was nasty! It turned out to be a fluke and everything was normal at my next visit. Here's hoping you are the same way!
Oh that glucola junk is so foul!!! The 3 hour glucola is even worse cause it's more concentrated. I hope all goes well. And who doesn't want a jug of urine in their fridge?
Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope everything turns out well (aka no bed rest or hospital admission or preeclampsia, etc...). You're awesome!
Ryan told me about this today. I hope everything goes ok! We are praying for ya!
Sounds fun Ash. Good luck with that and I will wish you luck about that test you are doing as well. You are still in my prayers. Glad your babies are still growing appropriately.
Yay i get to do this test next week! Hopefully it's not too horrible. I hope everything went well with your tests.
At least your jug is hard plastic, mine had to be stretched out because it would shrink. Now that was gross! I just put an ice bucket by the toilet. Good luck!
