Bella's Dog Cousins

Right when Ryan came home from Ecuador I insisted we go see his sister's puppies. Their dog had given birth while Ryan was gone and I was SOOOO excited to see the dogs. By the time we got to see them they were 4 weeks old. We had to put Bella next to them to see how tiny she was compared to them. Believe it or not, Bella was scared TO DEATH of these puppies. Bella is actually scared of any animal that moves. She's such a wuss.

A Weekend with Aunt Sissy

This weekend, while the mayor has held captive Jesse and Tina, my mom and I got to take the kids. We started by going to the zoo for a fun-filled adventure. I LOVE THE ZOO! I think Josh and Chloe liked the zoo too. Here they are in a dinosaur egg. We got to ride the train! Towards the end of our zoo visit we could tell Chloe was ready to zonk. The second she got in the car she started doing the head bob and was quickly out. Poor thing. It was lots of fun at the zoo! After the zoo, we went to our hotel, yes we stayed in a hotel in SLC. We got to take the kids swimming and then to Build-A-Bear. I need a pic of their bears, what was I thinking? They haven't put down those bears since we left the mall. Josh even fell asleep holding onto his bear (Bluebeary) quite tightly, so tight in fact, my mom thought he was going to suffocate himself because he had his face buried. Tonight, we're off to Beauty and the Beast at the Scera!

Good-bye............Again.

Ryan left me again today. The mayor thinks it's fun to go on these trips that I swear are life threatening. Seriously. The last one I went on with him was down the Green River in a canoe and I swear I was inches from death. It was horribly scary. I just don't live for white water in a canoe with windy canyons. This time the mayor decided to go to Havasupai, which I don't believe is as life threatening, but still not my cup of tea. Hence the reason I am here on the puter and taking over our entire bed.
For those of you who don't know what Havasupai is, then where have you been? It is in the Grand Canyon. There's an indian reservation and the falls of course. It looks beautiful! They get to hike into the reservation on Saturday and stay until Monday. This should be a once in a lifetime experience for Ryan. Have fun Ryan!

Over the Hill!!

What a week we have had around the Hone home. It has been completely crazy with Ryan coming home, having a birthday and me working my little hands off.

Yes folks, Ryan had a birthday, probably everybody's most dreaded birthday. The big 3-0!! That's right! THIRTY YEARS OLD! He had requested a brinner (breakfast dinner) at my parents house for his birthday, so that's what we did. French toast, scramby eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, the works! We topped it all off with some yummy ice cream cake. Of course I had to put trick candles on the cake to see how ticked I could make Ryan. Too bad he doesn't get mad. He just laughed and kept blowing.

Ryan got all sorts of gifts. His mother gave him his favorite salsa for his eggs, McDonald's hot picante sauce! Nummers. He also got Goonies from my little bro. He always asks Nate if he can watch this when we go up to Elk Ridge.

Happy birthday Ryan! You're still just as hot as the 24 year old guy I met 6 years ago. I only hope we have as much fun in the next 6 as we have had up until now. I always enjoy your company and I'm so glad you're home!
